1.申请资格
1.非中国国籍人士，持有效外国护照。
2.已获得学士学位，有相关专业背景。
3.年龄不超过40岁。
4.身体健康，无中国法律法规禁止入境的疾病。
注：申请人原来为中国公民，后取得外国国籍者，按照国家相关规定审核
1.Application Qualification
1.Non-Chinese citizen, with foreign passport;
2.Already acquired Bachelor’s Degree of relevant majors;
3.Under the age of 40;
4.In good health condition with no major diseases prohibited by Chinese laws and regulations and the University.
Note: Applicants who are former Chinese citizens and have acquired a foreign nationality should be subject to relevant national regulations.

3.申请材料
1.填写网申系统并提交（网申地址： https://iaa.usts.edu.cn/aspx/main/login.html)
2.学历学位证明复印件：包括本科《毕业证书》《学位证书》等复印件。
3.学习成绩单复印件。中英文以外文本须附经公证的中文或英文副本。
4.推荐信。曾就读过的学校两名副教授（或者相当职称）以上的推荐信，用中文或英文书写。
5.护照个人信息页。
6.外国人体格检查表(见附件PDF)：按国家检疫部门规定，体检人员需完成表中列示的所有项目检查，并需检查医生签字确认。体检完成后需加盖医院公章，照片上加盖骑缝章。以上要求缺一即无法认定体检结果。
7.语言水平证明复印件（仅限非英语国家）。
8.HSK成绩报告（如有）。
9.来华学习和研究的中文（或者英文）计划，不少于800字。
3.Application Documents
1.Fill out the online application system and submit
(Online application : https://iaa.usts.edu.cn/aspx/main/login.html)
2.Original notarized photocopy of the highest degree proof, including both graduation certificate and degree certificate;
3.Academic Transcripts. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English;
4.Recommendation letters. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English from former college by professors or associate professors;
5.A scanned copy of passport;
6.Foreigner Physical Examination Form(see annex PDF).completed in recent one month. The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority. The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid;
7.Photocopy of Language Certificate（students from non-English speaking countries only）;
8.HSK (the Chinese Proficiency Test) Certificate (if available);
9.A study or research plan. All applicants are required to submit a study or research plan. It must be in Chinese or in English and no less than 800 words.
4.费用
1.注册费：400元/生。
2.学费：24000元/生/年。
3.住宿费：9000元/生/年。
4.保险费: 800元/生/年。
5.居留许可证费：400元/生/年。
6.体检费（申请居留许可用）：510元/生
注：因银行卡制卡需要时间，所有学生入境时请至少额外携带人民币现金3000元，以支付居留许可和其他相关费用。
4.Expenses
1.Registration fee: RMB400/person;
2.Tuition fee: RMB24000/Person/Year;
3.Accommodation fee: RMB9000/Person/Year;
4.Insurance fee: RMB800/Person/Year.
5.Residence Permit fee: RMB400/Person/Year.
6.Physical check fee (for residence permit application): RMB510/Person
Note: Making bank cards takes time, all students are required to bring at least extra RMB3000 in cash when entering China to pay for residence permit and other related fees.
5.奖学金
奖学金分为A等、B等：
(1)A等：包括学费、住宿费、生活补助（1000元/人/月，每学年共计10个月）.一次性安置费（1000元/人）。
(2)B等：包括学费、住宿费。
1.第1年：由申请者之前的成绩、录取时面试成绩综合判断：
2.第2年：根据在读学生第一学年期末成绩平均分进行排序，A等奖学金人数为学生总数的前70%（小数点四舍五入）。其余为B等奖学金。
3.第3年：主要依据在读学生硕士论文答辩成绩进行划定,论文答辩成绩达到75分(良好等地)以上且答辩平均分排序在前70% (小数点四舍五入)可获得A类奖学金。其余为B等奖学金。
5.Scholarships
Scholarships are categorized into A-class and B-class：
(1)A-class: Includes tuition, accommodation fee and living allowance (1000 RMB/person/month, totaling 10 months per academic year) . One-time settlement fee (1000 RMB/person).
(2)B-class: Includes tuition, accommodation fee.
1.1st Year:A-class or B-class will be decided by applicant's previous academic grades and interview performance.
2.2nd Year：Ranking is made according to the average score of the final grade of the student in the first school year.The candidates of A-class scholarship will be the upper 70% among all students (the decimal point is rounded).Rest sudents will get B-class.
3.3rd year: Mainly based on the result of master' s thesis defense of students. Those who obtained the thesis defense result above 75 points (good) and the average score of the defense ranks among the top 70% (the decimal point is rounded) will get A-class scholarship.Rest sudents will get B-class.
6.申请时间与录取
苏州科技大学每年5月30日前接受年度入学申请（网申地址：https://iaa.usts.edu.cn/aspx/main/login.html），6月30日前择优录取，并向考生寄发录取通知书。未录取者不另行通知。
6.Date of Application and Enrollment
Enrollment deadline: before 30th, May every year(Online application :https://iaa.usts.edu.cn/aspx/main/login.html). SUST will select and recruit the best applicants before 30th, June and deliver Admission Notice to those who have been admitted.Unaccepted applicants will not be notified.
